Sometimes the press is there to capture the magic of these rescues. As a pilot, it's not always fun seeing TV vans & cameras adjacent to the runway filming the landing, however the press is always welcome. They bring attention to the reasons we fly the missions; and they alert the local public of the dogs made available for adoption as a result of the flight. Check out the links below each photograph.
Rich Britton interviews FlyPups
The compassionate and passionate Rich Britton interviews FlyPups Chairman & Chief Pilot Matthew Kiener on his show Passionate About Pets.
Instead of IN the air, Matthew was ON THE AIR speaking to Rich about some of the work FlyPups has done, and what it's looking to accomplish in the future.
The Chronicle of the Horse 3-10-2014
Lindsay Graham, from The Chronicle of the Horse wrote a touching article about our mission.
Bergen Community College
FlyPups was invited to speak at Bergen Community College to two groups of Girl Scouts. We explained how aviation can be used to serve, specifically in the capacity of transporting dogs. We were touched by the enthusiasm and interest so many of the girls conveyed. There is hope for the next generation of pilots!
Thank you Christina Martinez for the invitation, the support of the Girl Scouts and of our mission.
