With 'Lassie' still in the shop, and a most gracious volunteer, Gabe (& his beautiful TBM), we set off on our furthest mission to date, Oklahoma! Normally we'd not fly so far, but this was a special mission. These five pups were trained service dogs needing to get to their veterans in Connecticut. Delivering these dogs to the men and women who'd so honorably served our country was a very emotional time for all involved. FlyPups wants all our veterans to know we stand ready to help.
5/25/19 - 8 Dogs - 8.2 hrs - 871 mi
"Lassie", our primary transport plane, was in the shop for some maintenance. Steve jumped at the chance to brink Liam with him in "Juliet" and fly eight super cute pups back to NJ from Hickory, NC. Here, Forever Home Dog Rescue will place them in nurturing fosters till their adoptions are sorted.
4/11/19 - 35 Dogs - 12 hrs - 1777 mi
Pico was a most helpful co-pilot on this trip, and with 35 pups in tow, there was a lot to do. - These pups often come from dire situations, this guy with the busted leg was just so grateful and happy to be heading to a better life. Such a sweet pup!

FlyPups got a call about a litter of puppies that had been found in an abandoned warehouse. With the local shelter already overcrowded, the only hope for these pups was to transport out of harms way. Thanks to the kind folks at Furever Home Dog Rescue, these pups are being nurtured at foster homes as adoptions are sorted.
1/4/19 - 1 Dog - 3.4 hrs - 468 mi
This beautiful pup had found his way to some abusive 'training'. We were only too happy to help get him to a place where he could have a second chance.
12/26/18 - 1 Dog - 6 hrs - 924 mi
What an eye opener! Just when we think we've seen it all, we find out about another type of depravity. This beautiful lurcher, Sia, was used at an underground racing venue. Most pups deemed too slow are evidently taken out back and shot, as not to bring attention to the illegal activities. This one was fortunate enough to have been saved by an advocate and we brought her hundreds of miles away to a most loving home. Thank you Sara, for bringing this need to our attention.
12/24/18 - 26 Dogs - 12 hr - 1776 mi
It was a Christmas Eve to remember! We brought twenty-six beautiful pups from Mississippi to New Jersey, and one lucky pup got to ride up front. She was one in a litter of ten that was born at an airport. They each got aviation related names. And Elizabeth fell hard for Amelia.
12/23/18 - 1 Dog - 6 hrs - 869 mi
It's not often we have a passenger heading south. It was good to be able to make use of the leg heading to Mississippi. We brought Ralph down to his forever home and a couple hundred pounds of donations. It was a good day.

We transported thirty-seven pups from Mississippi to loving fosters and homes in New Jersey. And on the way down... we delivered a rescue Cockatoo from NJ to SC. Yeah, we know it's FlyPUPS... 8/19/18 - 2 Dogs - 9 hrs - 1282 mi

A Mission Gone 'Bad'? That's the name given to a flight that results in not all of the pups making it to the originally intended destination, Yup, you guessed it, 'Charlie' went home with our pilot, Matt. And we aren't sure who is happier!

While it's not often we transport a single dog as it's just not cost effective. But when it comes to bringing a service dog to a veteran, we do whatever we can to make it happen. These are the most special transports and everyone at FlyPups is grateful to all those who've served.
10/28/17 - 12 Dogs - 5 hrs - 612 mi

Veterans hold a special place in our hearts, and when we can offer some assistance by delivering a service or companion dog to one who has served is an honor and privilege we take seriously. FlyPups flew ‘Titan’ to Special Airman (Ret.) Rafael and to say it was emotional would be an understatement. Titan & Rafael will work together with Colleen, a trainer from TADSAW, so that Titan can better understand how to help his new best friend. God Bless America and the brave men & women who serve.
10/15/17 - 24 Dogs - 13 hrs - 2002mi
Such sad stories surround some of these pups. The mother of a litter of eleven had been beaten with a metal pipe. (she's healing, and charges have been filed). FlyPups was glad to be able to get these beautiful pups to NJ where they'll be adopted and loved.
